We at VEGA are convinced that long-term growth and economic success are only truly meaningful if they are in harmony with the environment, society and the needs of future generations. That’s why we’re working hard to make a measurable contribution to sustainable development.

Our products make an active contribution to sustainability

VEGA’s sensors and systems help our customers operate their facilities more efficiently, more safely and in a more resource-conserving manner. They enable more precise processes, reduce energy and raw material consumption and thus help to minimise the environmental footprint of industry.
 

At the same time, we take responsibility as a company.

We want to become more sustainable ourselves and take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously. Our business activities are aimed at promoting the balanced development of environmental, economic and social interests.

What sustainability goals have we set for VEGA?

Our goal is to become greenhouse gas neutral in Scope 1 and 2 by 2033.

What does greenhouse gas neutral mean?
Greenhouse gas neutral means that greenhouse gases are completely avoided, reduced or offset by compensatory measures, so that no net emissions are released into the atmosphere.
Our definite goal is to reduce our emissions from the current 8,826 tonnes of CO₂ to 0 tonnes of CO₂.
