Show ProductFunctionRadiometric measurement is based on the gamma rays, i.e. radiation, emitted by an isotope. The sensor, located on the opposite side of the vessel, receives this radiation. The detector of the sensor converts the gamma radiation into signals, the number of which is recorded and evaluated. SeriesDetector = POINTRAC |
|
MountingThe radioactive source is mounted on one side of the container and the detector on the opposite side. For level detection, the sensor is usually mounted horizontally at the height of the desired limit level. ConnectionA three-core installation cable with PE conductor is required for power supply. The 4 ... 20 mA current output is connected with standard two-wire cable. SetupDue to the measuring principle itself, there is no linear relationship between the pulse rate and the level. For that reason, an adjustment must always be carried out. |
